The Law Offices of Robin O. Brena opened on October 15, 1988, and grew steadily before becoming Brena, Bell & Walker. The firm now has eleven attorneys and more than a dozen legal, administrative, and support staff members. Throughout this time, BBW has been committed to providing quality legal representation that successfully competes with the largest law firms in the country while maintaining the attention, agility, and personal touch that a smaller firm can provide.

BBW is also dedicated to the principle of avoiding any representation that could harm our home state of Alaska, and to giving back to the local community through charitable contributions and other support both as individuals and as a team. Sponsored charities have included the Anchorage School District's Child in Transition program, Toys for Tots, the Veterans' Administration Hospital, Heifer International, Kid's Kitchen, Friends of Pets, Prince William Sound Science Center, Bean's Café, Working Hearts, the American Heart Association, Great Land Trust, Covenant House, and Clare House. BBW also volunteers as a group to serve meals at Bean's Café.
