Brena, Bell & Walker
Brena, Bell & Walker announces former Governor Bill Walker will join their firm. As a long-time municipal and resource development attorney, Walker will continue his work providing municipal and resource and economic development assistance to Alaskans. Walker, a lifelong Alaskan, earned a business degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon and a Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of Law. Walker resides in Anchorage with his wife Donna. They have four children and five grandchildren. With Attorney General Designee Kevin Clarkson leaving the firm to go into public service and Walker joining the firm, the firm’s name will be changed to Brena, Bell & Walker.
Distinguished Service Award
BBC attorney Kevin Clarkson has been awarded the Alaska Bar Association Distinguished Service Award for 2018. This Award honors an attorney for outstanding service to the membership of the Alaska Bar Association.
Harvard leadership seminar
BBC managing attorney Robin Brena attended Harvard Law School's Leadership in Law Firms seminar from April 29th to May 4th, 2018. This program offered the opportunity to exchange ideas with law firm leaders from around the world regarding organizational efficiencies and practical solutions to increase value creation for clients.
Energy bar association primer
BBC attorneys Robin Brena, Matt Clarkson, Kelly Moghadam, and Jake Staser attended the Energy Bar Assocation's Introduction to Federal Oil Pipeline Regulation at Anadarko Petroleum in The Woodlands, Texas on January 25th and 26th, 2018. This primer discussed key statutes, regulations, and issues governing and affecting the transportation of oil and other liquid petroleum products, and also provided a networking reception for the dozens of attendees.
