Mr. Brena is the owner and managing shareholder of Brena, Bell & Walker, P.C., which he founded in 1988. He maintains an active trial and appellate practice, centered on complex civil cases in courts and regulatory agencies at both the state and federal levels.
Jesse C. Bell
Mr. Bell has represented numerous clients in the purchase and sale of multi-million-dollar businesses and commercial properties. He is also recognized as a well-known expert on the Alaska Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act.
William M. Walker
Mr. Walker is a lifelong Alaskan who served as Governor from 2014 to 2018 and has more than 30 years of legal experience as a municipal and resource development attorney.
Anthony (“Tony”) S. Guerriero
Mr. Guerriero has practiced law for over 30 years, including more than 12 years in Alaska, and maintains an active practice focusing on commercial transactions, leases, oil and gas regulation, and telecommunications. He has represented a variety of clients including manufacturers, financial institutions, business owners, creditors, creditors’ committees, debtors, and bankruptcy trustee.
David W. Wensel
Mr. Wensel has over 20 years of experience representing clients in Alaska. His practice emphasizes real estate, commercial litigation, tax assessment, telecommunications, oil and gas, appellate, and administrative matters before both federal and state courts and regulatory agencies.
Michael D. Corey
Mr. Corey amassed 28 years of experience in civil litigation prior to his service as an Anchorage Superior Court Judge. He returns to private practice having represented clients throughout Alaska and the “Lower 48” in a variety of complex matters involving product liability, insurance contract disputes, and wrongful death in State and Federal Courts.
Laura S. Gould
Ms. Gould has over 17 years of legal experience in Alaska. While in law school Ms. Gould worked as a judicial intern in the Alaska Supreme Court, and after graduating from law school she worked as a judicial clerk in the Alaska Superior Court in Anchorage. She then worked in private practice in Anchorage in the areas of legal and medical malpractice, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and general civil litigation.
Jon (“Jack”) S. Wakeland
Mr. Wakeland has represented Alaska clients for more than nine years, focusing on oil and gas pipeline transportation, ad valorem tax, municipal law, and general civil litigation. Prior to joining BB&W, Mr. Wakeland worked for four years at Walker & Richards LLC.
Kelly M. Moghadam
Ms. Moghadam is a lifelong Alaskan with more than seven years of experience representing clients in Alaska. She maintains an active practice focusing on civil litigation and regulatory matters, particularly cases related to oil and gas pipeline transportation, ad valorem tax, and utility rates.
Jake W. Staser
Mr. Staser is a lifelong Alaskan with more than seven years of practice in Alaska. Immediately after completing law school he served as a law clerk for the Anchorage District Court, and he subsequently worked for the State of Alaska Office of Public Advocacy and Walker & Richards LLC.
