Senior Attorney

Kelly Moghadam is a lifelong Alaskan with more than 10 years of experience representing clients in Alaska.  While in law school, Ms. Moghadam interned for the U.S. Attorney and District Attorney’s Office in Fairbanks, Alaska. Ms. Moghadam maintains an active practice focusing on civil litigation and regulatory matters, particularly cases related to oil and gas pipeline transportation, ad valorem tax, and utility rates.

Education

Ms. Moghadam obtained a B.A. political science from the University of San Diego in 2007, a J.D. cum laudefrom Thomas Jefferson School
of Law in 2010, and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington in 2020.

Admitted to Practice

Ms. Moghadam is admitted to practice in Alaska state courts, all courts in the State of Texas, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Alaska.

Memberships, Recognition & Services

Ms. Moghadam is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  Ms. Moghadam completed the National
Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Utility Rate School. While attending law school, she received both the Witkin Award and the Jefferson Medal in Business Planning, Wills and Trusts, Jurisprudence, and Law and Society.  Ms. Moghadam leads the charity team at Brena, Bell & Walker which provides donations to local charities each month. Ms. Moghadam also spends time volunteering with Disabled American Veterans, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and various mentoring programs.
